Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. I am not even sure what blogging is or is supposed to be.
I have commented a few times on another person's blog, but this one is mine. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
There are a several things to do as I travel down this blogging road:
1. First and foremost I want to influence and encourage people toward Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living GOD. He alone is the Savior of the world. He alone is the hope for all mankind. It is only through Jesus that one can receive the gift of eternal life. In fact, Jesus is eternal life to all who know and trust Him. Following Him will lead to abundant life.
2. My journey in planting and working with house churches will shared. Though the transition from being a traditional missionary and pastor to being involved in a simple house church ministry has been difficult at best, it is definitely more fulfilling. The freedom to walk with Christ and go where He wants me to when He wants me to is more than I could have imagined a few short years ago. I highly recommend it!
3. I will from time to time share my views on current events, especially in the area of social and political issues. I like MIKE. Mike Huckabee is the best candidate and he has my vote.
4. It is my desire to be a springboard for ideas. Feel free to bounce things off me in this blog space.
5. You will hear about my online business venture and my trading/investing experience. At 50 years old I still cannot shake the entrepreneurial spirit that either afflicts me or defines me. You form your own opinion.

One thing: if you don't see a lot of comments on your blog, it's not that no one reads it, its just that most don't comment on the things that you write -- so, don't get discouraged :)
